Jesus Christ: Best Marketer Ever!
While there are many products out there that have the potential to improve the lives of consumers, and many a marketer attempting to sell said products, sometimes what’s wrong is actually in the positioning.
Coming from the wrong position can cost you plenty of sales by not affecting lots of people; all you need to do is use the correct approach!
One of the most prevalent forms of sales is to use the “-er” technique, whereby what they’re selling will make you “better”, “smarter” or “faster”. Anyone using this technique has already lost the selling game. While this method will help when selling to a warm market, it will do no good for the cold market, as the competition for “-er” offers is great.
The simple truth is that this technique was around even before Jesus walked the earth. Promises of better crops, better favors, better love lives, and the list goes on, were all sold by false gods. The question then arises, how does one know when they’ve truly achieved “better”? In reality there actually is no real way of measuring these things; either something’s present or it’s not.
This conversation took a 360 when Jesus arrived. Jesus did not just offer an enhancement on what people already had; he switched things up by actually offering a new opportunity!
Whenever a new offer/ opportunity is presented, it’s referred to the “switch” in marketing lingo. This is exactly what Jesus has promised.
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yolk upon you and learn from Me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls” – Mathew 11:28-29
The new opportunity given by Jesus was to have rest; this is not having fewer burdens, nor sleeping better, this is a matter of fact statement.
He never once used an “-er” word.
“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove rom you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.” – Ezekiel 36:26
Jesus doesn’t stop here. Completely changing the conversation is one thing, however, attempting to offer “stacks” as back up is over-delivering.
After a new opportunity has been presented, an offer stack is offered. These stacks usually enhance the original promise by adding more worth.
Jesus not only promised to give his spirit to us, but he made us pure through is blood and sacrifice by dying for our sins. This is how he stacked on his already amazing offer. Talk about an offer you can’t resist!
Jesus used miracles from God to prove himself to us, and then to top it off he initiated the ultimate switch; he even stacked an offer that was a complete no-brainer.
Hopefully this article was helpful in understanding how you can use these types of offers in your own business. Why not funnel hack Jesus if you’re planning on funnel hacking anyone!
